A few reminders...
If you haven't already, please finish reading Freak the Mighty over break. Make sure you finish your study guide for Monday, the 23rd.
If you have English during 6th period, make sure you are studying your vocabulary words. You will have a quiz when we get back from break on all the words in our "Alien Invaders" unit from the R-book.
I hope you all get a chance to curl up with an awesome book over break. Right now I am reading The Enchantress of Florence, by Salman Rushdie. It's pretty surreal and I'm enjoying the break from reality :)

i am reading No Pretty Pictures a child of war by Anita Lobel.
ReplyDeletei haven't started it yet but i will tomorrow when i get home from tanning. i guess its about a girl who gets hold hostage during the holocaust and she tells us about it.
i'm reading That was Then This is Now. It is about these two guys and their life story. it talks about life in the olden days and about when coke was ten cents. there is a kid in the story with the name M&M, because all he ever does is eat M&M-Rae Biehl
ReplyDeletesince i finished Deliver Us From Normal i'm going to try to find the sequel Far From Normal where the Harissongs' go from their houseboat to a penthouse and their lives are taped for a reality tv show.-Lexi
ReplyDeleteI finished reading the book The Perks of being a Wallflower. So now im reading The Lovely Bones. Im not that far in the book, but I like it so far. -Taylor
ReplyDeleteIm reading a biography of bob marley. Its very intresig however they go into sooo much detail its hard to read a lot at one time.
ReplyDeleteBefore i started reading this book, i a bunch of Sarah dessen books: That Summer, This Lulliby, Just Listen and the Truth About Forever. They were good and easy, but it was cool that each one took place in the same little town or area discreatly. They each had little things that were the same like, one was about a band, The truth Squade, and anther these two people hung out with truth squade before a show. Also the mall was the same, there was the same car dealership and many other discreat similaities. I suggest reading any sarah dessen book =]
I am reading the Divine and so far it is a very good book but it is long.

I am reading Tears of a Tiger. I really don't like this book though because it is all talking and has little to no detail. But before reading this I read The Secret Circle which was a great book and im still looking for the sequel.=)
