Okay, usually teaching summer school is okay. This summer was filled with some real...characters. I certainly learned a lot about from them, I hope they can say the same for me. We covered several different topics in a short period of time and they were pushed to their limit... so was I. Today was the last day! I hope I don't run into any of them at Summer School next year.
Fall is coming quickly. Soccer starts in two weeks. I hope all the JV girls are ready for the challenge of double session practices. I'm excited to get started and see all of last year's muffins as they start their freshman year! Of course that means a new batch of muffins will be moving into 151 for the next two years. I have heard some really encouraging things about them from their former 6th grade teachers. It's always exciting to start teaching 7th grade with a new group, but I will certainly miss last year's kiddies.
I hope everyone is finding time to relax before the fall craziness sets in. Mokey sure is... :)
